Course Description

In this four-part workshop Nischala Devi will introduce a way to adapt the ancient practices of Yoga, for people living with heart disease, have a family history, risk factors or for those people wanting to enhance their cardiac health.

Since this disease is centered not only our physical heart, but also on the energetic level, our actions, thoughts and images of who we are and how we feel about ourselves influence health or disease. Experience these powerful ancient practices of Yoga as they open us to experiences of healing and living with a whole heart.

Coronary artery disease will also be observed from the mental and spiritual perspectives drawing from scripture to explain why we contract disease.

Through the wisdom and multi-faceted practices of Yoga we delve deep within, energizing the entire being to embrace radiant health.

Each section will include lecture and practice of either deep relaxation or physical poses.

This workshop is designed for Yoga teachers, health professionals and any individuals who want to gain understanding and learn practices that inspire those challenged, to go deep into Yoga for complete healing.
